Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland: Parking and Shuttle Essentials |
Plan ahead for October 30–31, including Lextran’s separate $1 shuttle option |

Heading to Keeneland for the October 30–31 Breeders’ Cup requires a transportation plan as well as a race ticket.
On-site parking must be purchased in advance, with no parking-pass sales at the venue.
Check live availability before leaving, because parking and admission inventory can change.
Friday admission opens at 9:30 a.m., with first post at 11:55 a.m.; Saturday admission opens at 9 a.m., with first post at 11:15 a.m.
The official Downtown Shuttle departs from West Short Street near North Upper Street.
Service begins at 9 a.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday, with return service continuing up to 90 minutes after the final race.
Published prices are $20 Friday, $40 Saturday or $60 for both days; downtown parking is separate, and advance shuttle reservations are required.
Riders must also have Breeders’ Cup admission.
Lextran offers a separate shuttle from the Downtown Transit Center for $1 each way on both race days.
Bring exact cash, because operators cannot make change, and check Lextran’s race-day timetable before choosing a departure.
These are different shuttle services, with different pickup arrangements and fares.
Use the current Breeders’ Cup transportation information or Lextran’s published schedule to confirm your chosen option before setting out. |
